For my return, I see it fitting to start things off with the anthem of the now-defunct socialist Dutch radio station, the VARA (Vereeniging van Arbeiders Radio Amateurs). I previously posted a video of the second stanza and chorus, which in turn I had gotten from a Kampflieder.de video before that channel was taken down. Since then I have managed to get my hands on the first and third stanzas, so I pieced them together to finally get a full version of this great anthem. Original upload date: 6...

I originally posted an older recording of this song as part of a compilation, but YouTube took it down because the image I used for the video suggested that neo-Nazis perform acts of self-harm. Take that as you will. Since then, that version of the song has been reuploaded elsewhere on YouTube and I figured I might as well post a newer version I've found, along with a better translation and an image that hopefully won't incur the wrath of YouTube. Original upload date: 16 July, 2016 (part of...

The motivation behind this song is the fact that "human rights" was claimed to be a cornerstone of the foreign policy of the United States under their 39th president, Jimmy Carter, from 1977 to 1981. The singer points out the hypocrisy of the United States calling for "human rights" abroad while ignoring the issue of human rights at home. I transcribed this song myself by ear and I think I managed to get it all despite some initial trouble. However, feel free to correct me...

The anthem of the former 19th of April Movement (Movimiento 19 de Abril), a left-wing guerrilla in Colombia that allied with the FARC, ELN, and others. After some major losses in the late 1980s, it laid down its weapons in 1990 to become a political party and gradually faded into obscurity. At its height, it was the second-largest guerrilla group in Colombia, only behind the FARC. Several years ago, I made a video containing the anthems of the three largest Colombian guerrillas (FARC, M-19, and...

The anthem of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People's Army (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia-Ejército del Pueblo), still used by FARC dissidents since picking back up arms in 2019 after much of the movement laid them down in 2017. This is the newer of two versions, this version changing two verses from the original: "Compañeros de las FARC" ("Comrades of the FARC") became "Guerrilleros de las FARC" ("Guerrillas of the FARC") and...
