There is a version of the Mongolian anthem that has been passed around for some time which is claimed to be the original 1950 version of the anthem. However, this claim is false. The motivation behind this song is the fact that "human rights" was claimed to be a cornerstone of the foreign policy of the United States under their 39th president, Jimmy Carter, from 1977 to 1981.
